In November 1965, LTC Hal Moore lead the 1st Battalion,
7th Calvary into the first major battle of the Vietnam war. For three days both sides fought a valiant battle. At the end of the battle, LTC Hal Moore was asked about his troops and their valor. He responded by saying, "The extremely high regard that I have for the American soldier; he is the best fighting man that I have ever seen, and I would like for you — if you convey anything out of this area where we have been for the last three days and nights — please convey to the American people what a tremendous fighting man we have here. He is courageous; he is aggressive, and he is kind, and he will go where you tell him to go. And he has got self-discipline, and he's got good unit discipline he's just an outstanding man. And having commanded this battalion for 18 months, you must excuse my emotion here, but when I see some of these men go out the way they have, I can't tell you how highly I feel for them; they are tremendous."

We at Vetrecs embrace Hal Moore's sentiments. Our American fighting men and women embody the best characteristics of America's people: they are courageous, they are aggressive,

they have incredible self-discipline, and they are kind. In the Bible, John 15:13 says, "Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends." The wonderful men and women in uniform defend each other on a day-to-day basis. They are courageous, aggressive, kind, and disciplined. But what happens when the enemy doesn't take the life of our brave men and women? What happens when they only take part of their life? These brave troops are left to rebuild their lives with debilitating injuries. It is up to American industry to assist them. They fought so that the general principles of the American way of life may be achieved for those motivated to reach them. When soldiers are injured in battle, it is incumbent on all Americans to ease their transition.

The employees of Vetrecs will do all in their power to aid those soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines move back into civilian life. We will prepare them for success and assist them in their return to civilian lives, working with them to find the right career. We will partner with Veteran-friendly companies to make sure that the wounded veterans we place have long-term stability that only comes from solid careers.
